Are we sure that the signs that follow
those that believe are the miracles or are the signs really those
that are reborn again (saved, if you will). Jesus said that the Jews
were always looking for a sign. In Genesis God both said let there
be light and later let there be lights that would be a sign, and for
seasons and days and years. But the associations of time are
inaccurate, and are better suited to statements or facets of
character. The days are those children of the light. So if you have
many flames of light gather together you would call this a ‘day’
metaphorically. The 6 days are steps for the development of
character. The 7th day or step is rest, and the rest or Sabbath was
made for man, and not for God. So, then, why are there those who
make a religion about this. Rest is fun or at least enjoyable. We
all like sex, should we now make a religion about that too?
That little scripture in Genesis about the firmament in the midst of
the waters and that it shall divided from the waters about from the
waters below was in itself a metaphor for Jesus. The above and below
weren’t necessarily a reference to geographical positions, but to
those who were either good or bad. Genesis is so overly redundant
that it wreaks with the obvious and mundane to the extreme. But if
you view is literal, then you forget that God talked to all in
parables, so much so that even the Prophets whom He spoke thru
didn’t even get what He was talking about. But here you come along
in the flesh, just barely born again in your Spirit, and you know
what it is all about. What will be more important is that do you
know his voice in conjunction to His will and are you going to obey
Him, or play church? Or you could play the bible study game and play
the social game called fellowship. There are a lot of voices and
much commotion all about you, when will you get quiet in your head
and wait on Him? Its not fun. Too bad. Remember pick up your cross
and follow Him, sound familiar? The better sign that follows those
that believe who actually have a walk and will be in a better
position to bring forth spiritual offspring; that are the signs that
follow those… |
