Is a convert to Christianity “born
again” or reincarnated?
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot * see the kingdom of God.
John 3:4
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can
* he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born ?
John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot * enter into the kingdom
of God.
The 2 operative words here that will help ones understanding "see &
enter". One must be born again to see, not enter. Born again here is
reincarnation, though many use this term for being born in the
Spirit, which those who are born of the Spirit to enter. Why else
would Nicademus make a remark about going back to your mothers womb
again. Jesus doesn't correct him, but says that because he is a
master in Israel, that he should already know what it means to be
born again.
But when one sees the term to be born again in the letters or
epistles the Greek word here changes and it is now a ref to being
born in the spirit.
Remember when Job says that he knows that he will stand upon the
earth in the latter days and see his saviour. Another curious verse
in the NT that says that we should work out our salvation with fear
and trembling. So, it wouldn't be possible that there are people out
there that are paying for sins in a previous life. But, you'll say
that we are the righteousness of God thru Jesus. Which
righteousness? The righteousness which is justification, whereby the
slate is wiped clean to start again. Another word for righteousness
is God's will for your life. So while there is plenty room at the
foot of the cross as the saying goes and all can recieve the
down-payment of his righeousness/His will/justification as a
collective group, this is where the party stops. From here on out it
becomes solo and very lonely for many years, and if you avoid it now
in this life, there will be many more lives to follow, "To be a
sheeple or not is a decision of the one and not the many" So, you
want to play church, and you think you can get away with it, guess
again.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten
Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
Lastly 'everlasting life' or 'eon zoe'. Eon is set time, a 1000
years, and Zoe is soul life. I think that the application of
faith/walking with God is obtained at ones own speed. But don't
confuse justification with the complete walk with God or all his
righteousness. Some hard cases might not listen, but a little time
in the "prison" or Gods barbecue will get the message across. After
all every knee shall bow and confess JC Lord, and we're told that if
one does that that they'll be saved.
Everybody it seems who wants to be in that special group of sheeples
a special pass on their life of mediocrity and complacency. "But
we're not perfect, just forgiven" is the bleet of the bleeding heart
liberals. So, its alright, go ahead keep sliding thru this life and
one after that and the one after that until you make a decision to
walk with Him. You won't just be going thru the wilderness for the
40 some odd years like Israel in the wilderness, but you can
multiply that by either 10 or 100 or 1000
"But we're all going to heaven", so there. Really? If the Jew is to
inherit the earth, and the gentiles in Christ will inherit the
galaxies all around you, what heaven are you talking about? Oh,
thats right, you are talking about the heaven in Genesis. But think
about that for minute? Why does God need to make a heaven to live
in, isn't He God? |
