Latter rain? |

Most of us know that the “former Rain”
was and still is a reality today as the baptism of the Holy Spirit
or also known as the earnest of the Spirit. This initial contact
with God thru the Holy Spirit brings to us a litany of spiritual
gifts that we once had in our then living soul. Now that we are in
our fallen state, our spirit gets saved or cleansed by the vicarious
blood of Jesus. After this initial “rebirth” of our spirit we become
a candidate for this baptism of the Holy Spirit. When Paul talked about to know nothing among you save Christ and Him crucified was not about the past death of Jesus; afterall He wasn’t then talking to potential converts, but to those who had become christians. Christ means annointed. So, in order for Paul to say to know ‘Christ and Him Crucified’ would have to refer to those of us with the earnest of the spirit (10% downpayment) who would in turn trying to crucify the “Old Man” or our dead souls. Now the soul doesn’t get cleansed by the blood of Jesus, but has to die. So here it is that your soul/heart/mind gets a bypass surgery and our life support is our new born again spirit which all new converts will be directed by, until the “old man” is completely crucified or becomes dead…for unless a grain of wheat fall to the ground and die it will not bare fruit. But weren’t we all told that the fruit of the Spirit is love…and thus we go off to church with this idealism in place and hug everybody, meanwhile the real fruit of the spirit stays out of the church only to be read out of a bible for posteriety. We have all heard the verse: II Ch 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord look to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on the behalf of those whose hearts are perfect towards him” What a beautiful verse, we’ve all said yea and amen….wouldn’t it be wonderful if Jesus would come to us on a white horse and carry us off to the enchanted heaven? What if I were to tell you that another better word for “perfect” is mature. The ‘eyes’ are those ministries that can see in the spirit and are also the same clouds (plural) that Jesus is coming (presence) with. Then there is the 2 or 3 that are gathered in my name, for there am I in the midst of them; kind of a slur on Daniel. So while the 3 ring circus is going on at the church at any one time or another, and whether anybody is aware of it or not, God’s many angels in and out of the flesh are ministering on many different levels to bring the many or the few along the way to the full stature of christ…ultimately they might be fully saved/married unto Jesus/have received the latter rain or 100% of the spirit/become fully developed gods or sons of God. Some how or another heaven will be down on Earth thru this process and then we can go on and colonize other planets in our solar system and other solar systems with their planets. Sounds exciting, when are we going? Hab 3:3 “God (eloah, singular tense of Elohim) came from Temah (an area that is to the right of center and faces east), and the Holy One from Mt. Paran (an area that is a little south of Temah) The Heavens was full of His Glory (manifestation, fruits) and the Earth was full of his Praise (Judah, gov’t, footstool). |
