To best understand this phrase a
definition of its parts will give a more precise understanding of
the total phrase. The Kingdom of God can best be understood as a
group of people/gods. Jesus said, they that do the will of God are
my brother, mother, sister and father. But this Kingdom doesn’t just
exist in the realm of justification, which is the beg. of
righteousness, but righteousness is otherwise God’s will for your
life. In that you seek and know and then obey what He has told you
will thus bring you peace. Once you have completely followed thru on
a commission from the Lord then you enter into His joy
Jas 3:18
And the fruit (manifestation) of righteousness (His will) is sown
(waiting on the Lord) in peace (initial agreement to obey) of them
that make peace.
This latter verse gives a little more dimension to the will of God;
ultimately an action will take place on your part.
I thought this was just suppose to be nice sounding verse that we
use on each other in “Christian Love” to shut up each other. I
didn’t know it was suppose to have any real meaning? You think? |
