Is Jesus is Lord? |

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. This is very simple and yet very confusing. Very often you will see a sign on a church bldg. or a bumper sticker on a car that will read “Jesus Christ is Lord”. All this means is that Jesus Christ is the “Christ” or the “Anointed”. Saying that Jesus is Lord is not the same thing as saying that Jesus is God. Again Jesus is a god, but for the purposes of salvation Jesus died on the cross a natural man, and not as God or a god. |
